Consulting

Never be a prisoner of your past. It was just a lesson, not a life sentence.

Welcome to your opportunity to create meaningful and abundant change in your life! This is an apt moment to acknowledge the inner power that brought you here – regardless of your current purpose for doing so.

"How we walk in the world is less about who we’ve been and more about who we want to become. Where we walk in the world is less about where we’ve been and more about where we want to go."

- Tammy Collard

My practice is based on looking within to reconnect and re-establish relationship to one’s inner core from a holistic perspective that considers the unison of mind, body and spirit as being integral to healing and purposeful change. My style of engagement is dynamic and flows from intuitive connection rooted in love, compassion and caring that promote empowerment through conscious accountability for how we resolve to ‘walk in the world’. I accept that this approach to practice will not be a ‘good fit’ for every client and, should this occur for you, please simply let me know as I would like the opportunity to suggest an alternate practitioner who may be better suited to your therapy needs.

It is important to understand that while therapeutic counseling is intended to provide significant benefits (increased self-esteem, personal power, improved relationships, communication skills, and development of problem solving/coping strategies, etc.), it may also pose risks. Agreeing to receive therapeutic counseling services constitutes an understanding that this work often tends to elicit uncomfortable thoughts and possibly painful feelings that arise as a result of emotionally connecting with troubling memories or confronting current unworkable situations. Unlike a visit to a medical doctor, therapeutic counseling calls for an active and engaged effort on your part. In order for our work together to be of the best possible benefit to you, you will need to make a conscious and active commitment to work both in-session, as well as at home, on identified issues.
